These guys like some full sun exposure. A well draining, acidic soil. You can use compost, acidic fertilizer, or elemental sulfur to up the acidity of needs be. Don’t let it dry out completely between watering but don’t let the soils get soggy. Pruning it back a little when it goes dormant in the winter time will give you better growth in the spring.
