I like to pretend my plants are living in the wild. Nobody is going to come trim the leaves in the wild and so the plant will keep growing. Aesthetically though, when the plant has grown a bit taller, I would cut the entire leaf and then build up the dirt around the cut ( after it's dried a wee bit) ๐
