Yes! 🙌 I love the citrus trees, but they can be so fussy! 😩. Good news, it still looks alive. It’s not uncommon for these guys to stress and lose all of their leaves. 🍃 So pull back on your watering, and only lightly water, allowing the soil to become lightly moist but not wet. Citrus trees like cold/cool toes (roots) and warmer air around them. They also prefer a little extra growing room. Do you know if this is a tree? Or a calamondin bush?
@LordRose35 Ohhh Julian, I’ve seen more dramatic citrus trees than this and trust me, they live for this kind of performance…..This isn’t a funeral, it’s a season finale cliffhanger. All those leaves? Just a dramatic wardrobe change…. She’s still alive and kicking…you’ve basically got a stick with ambition right now…Check her roots Gently slide her out of the pot. Healthy roots are firm and white/tan. If you see mushy brown ones, trim them off like bad bangs. Repot if needed Fresh, well draining citrus or houseplant mix. Add a bit of perlite so her shoes aren’t soggy. Pull back on the watering, let her soil dry out between sips, and give her a sunny spot so she can photosynthesize her way out of this midlife crisis. Bonus points if you whisper sweet nothings about fresh blooms and fruit salads. You might just see tiny green shoots before you know it. Oh and Skip the fertilizer until you see new growth right now she’s in pajamas all day…mode.
