not enough sunlight

i don’t have a window i can set my arizona rainbow cactus in to get sunlight. but i can set it out in my patio, would that work for sunlight? if so, how long should i leave it out there?
11ft to light, indirect
12” pot without drainage

Maybe try a grow light.
That depends, what direction does your patio face and does it receive any direct sunlight? Cactus are desert plants so they need lots of direct sunlight. If your patio is south or west facing and gets direct sunlight, it will be fine there. Otherwise you'll need to supplement with strong grow lights for it to thrive.

I noticed your plant card says it's in a pot without drainage, is that correct? Cacti need a pot with drainage holes, ideally one made of terracotta. They're very susceptible to overwatering, and a pot without proper drainage will hold onto moisture and cause it to rot. They also need a very gritty soil. The soil in the photo looks far too dense and peat-heavy, which can also lead to rotting. The best soil is one made specifically for cacti/succulents with extra perlite or pumice rock mixed in. This mimics where they grow in their native desert habitats.

Also, in case you're not aware...the flower on top is actually a fake one that's been glued on. Commercial growers often do this to make it more attractive to customers. With proper light, it will eventually bloom naturally πŸ˜‰
