brown spots on golden pothos

i recently noticed my leaves have been turning yellow and some have brown spots on them? what does this mean? someone pls help🙏🏼.

Hi! This could be overwatering and root rot, or she could also just be root bound. I'd advise you to take her out of the pot and see what's going on.

@bree4uu I agree with @LittleSongbird definitely to much moisture in the soil. I would take her out of the pot. Remove any rotted root. They will be mushy and browning. Healthy roots are white. I would also remove the yellow leaves so the plant does not waste any energy on trying to fix them. They will not recover. I would also repot with all fresh soil. Your plant should recover nicely.
