@NotoriousFIG Mine need the same, and a LOT of light when inside, but, I have asparagus ferns and not peacock.
I've never heard of a fern wanting light. Ferns are very much shade plants. The sun's rays will do it in. I not only have indoor ferns (Asparagus and Rainbow Moss), my yard is full of mosses and ferns (unwanted ferns) and they only survive in the shading of my house, near basement walls. North side only.
@NotoriousFIG need to mist my rainbow AT LEAST every day. More often 3 times. The tendrils especially. It grows in the cooler sections of Asian forests. I can verify that mine demands being inside with the A/C - or I can tuck it into some serious shady location outside. I mist mine so often I haven't had to water it in about 6 or 7 weeks. (Some of the misted water droplets end up on the soil.) Try shade and misting. Throw a few teblndrils on moistt Sphagnum moss to start babies. πΆ #peacockfern

If you do tuck it into a shady spot outside....do not leave it out in the rain. It will rot.
