Too much Light/Heat?
I have my plants under a grow light and I've noticed the center most leaves are duller then others. I'm worried maybe it is getting too much direct light/heat? (I'm sorry the photo isn't that clear, the difference in leaves is much more noticeable in person.)
10ft to light, indirect
4β pot with drainage

@RadLimabean97 I agree with Heidi hi I have and it was a very big and bushy. Now Iβm regrowing from one stem. Lost it in the thrips . Direct, intense sunlight can burn the foliage, leaving brown spots or bleached, dried areas on the leaves.: too much sun can be as bad as not enough.
but Iβd check the roots and make sure it not get over watered. Have you fertilize it lately. Check the bottom holes in your pot to be sure itβs no too wet or dry. Hope that helps #TradescantiaZebrina for more help ππ½π

@RadLimabean97 Correct, leaves will get pale if they are getting too much light. It is suggested the light be 12 inches above the plant but if that seems like too much just back it off a few inches and see how it does.
@RadLimabean97 itβs still got a lot of color and beautiful π€©

Thank you! It's on my desk at work, and unfortunately do not have a window nearby, hence the grow lamp. I'll move it away and see if that helps.

@RadLimabean97 thank Josh for best answer. I think natural light might be helpful. Maybe give it some natural light when possible. Hereβs a picture of how mine is doing now itβs in a 2in pot. . Keep me posted . ππ½π«Άπ½ππ½

@Preciousplants1 thanks for the tag Sherri!
The leaves more shielded from light will revert to green. Also older leaves will fade. It's hard to give these too much light. I have all my tradescantia under very intense grow lights. It helps the purple coloring become more intense. Yours is definitely not getting too much light. If you want the more green leaves to turn more purple, rotate the plant so it gets even light.
