My spider plant is dying!

Not sure what’s happened, over several months it has lost every leaf and now it only has one left :( I have a before and after to show. How do I help it get back to normal or is it too late?
3” pot

Take out this spider plant and see if it has root rot ( brown and mushy roots ), if there’s any healthy roots leave it in a cup with some clean water change it every 3 days until it grows more roots.
β€’ Dose the tin have drainage?.
I was gifted my second baby from the mother plan, first one died, and this one is doing the same..hopefully someone can provide some help because I was going to post alsoπŸ™ˆ
It is probably root rot from too much water. Make sure the pot has drainage and water no more than once per week. Let the excess drip out and dump out the extra water.
@Tawnyglowworm thanks I will give that a try! Yeah it does have drainage :)
I’ve checked the roots and can’t tell if it’s healthy or not? Any ideas?
@Charli3Plant there isn’t a particular smell coming from them so not sure!
