Help! My Asparagus Fern Leaves are twisting and curling!

#AsparagusFern

Hello!

I’m struggling with my asparagus fern and could really use some advice. Over the past two weeks, I’ve noticed:

* leaves curling and twisting in weird ways
* Bottom leaves turning yellow/brown (this has improved slightly after adjusting watering)

I initially thought the yellowing was due to overwatering, so I let the soil dry out before watering again. That seemed to help a little, but now the curling/twisting has started, and I’m not sure what’s causing it. We’re in Toronto, and it’s been quite cloudy recently, so I tried using grow lights, but maybe I didn’t leave them on long enough.

Some details about my setup:

* The plant has been happy for the past month before these issues started.
* It gets bright indirect light, about 7-8 feet from large south-facing windows.
* I run a humidifier to keep the air moist.

Could this be a light issue, watering issue, or something else entirely? I’d really appreciate any insightsβ€”thanks in advance! πŸ™
I don’t know much about ferns but check for root rock
Mist the plant daily, focusing on the arching stems. Avoid sudden changes in temperatures, which can cause the cladodes to drop.
@LuxuryBogarum misting doesn’t work actually. I did that before, but it just led to yellowing of the plant. When I stopped it became green
Yellowing is a common indicator of overwatering in asparagus ferns, as the yellowing stopped after you stopped misting, I would say this could be the cause. Wait until 50% of the soil is dried out before you water
