Edema after top watering
Kai is in a wick and grow planter. I have never had success with a self watering planter before but this has done well.
It was time to water and fertilize. I wasn’t sure how the wick might influence the uptake of fertilizers so I top watered this time. Now it’s 2 days later and he has some edema bruises.
Does anyone have any tips to avoid this next time? How do you fertilize or apply any kind of soil drench treatment in a wick and grow type planter?
I thought about hydroponics fertilizer in the reservoir but this isn’t hydroponic… I’m stumped.
