@HumbleNoni2 Why hello there πŸ‘‹πŸ» Calathea’s, as they are commonly called, are notorious fussy and quick to let you know there is something wrong, and they have very specific care requirements. πŸ“

While I can’t really tell anything from your post, no plant care is a β€œone size fits all,” and it will depend on your specific conditions. So! That being said, I’d love to help if you wanna share some info! 😁 Ready? 🌿

-How far away from your calathea is the nearest window, if any, and what direction does it face? Does it get any natural light or direct sun? You said you just put her back on a grow light today, is that her only light source? How many hours per day?
-what temperature is your place during the day and night?
-what humidity is she in, if you know?
-how and when do you water and what kind of water do you use? Do you use tap? Rainwater? Distilled?
-what kind of pot is she in and what kind of soil? Do you check the soil before you water?

If you can, please share some more photos: a full on pic, one of your soil, and a couple zoomed in on the specific issues you’re having. And please tag me with my @ name so then I’ll get notified of your reply! 🫢🏼🌿
I water my plant every time her dirt is a little dry sometimes I can’t keep up with it and it goes dry for a day. Before she was is a darker part of our house and didn’t get a lot of sunlight. Like at all. I cut off the dead leaves and dusted off the leaves and gave a good watering!
Mine was doing great and started doing the same thing! I’m so scared I don’t want her to die! Can you help me? @DreamMachine
@IdealSmearwort what kind of pot is that? Does it have drainage? Often when the oldest leaf turns yellow it’s a sign of drought. That pot doesn’t look like it has enough soil, and is quite shallow. Is there an inner plastic pot that you can take out and water with drainage hole to let the water flow freely out?
@HumbleNoni2 I’m sorry I never got this reply of yours! When you are talking to someone make sure you hit β€œreply” or type in the name of the person, so for me, you would include @DreamMachine so that I get a notification. How is your pinstripe calathea doing?
@DreamMachine it does have drainage but is pretty small. What substrate is best to repot in? Also it had spider webs in the leaf so I sprayed with neam oil do you recommend anything else?
