I think I broke my plant’s stem

#MosesInTheCradle I was watering my plant and moved the stem to high as I was hoping to attach a support pole to it, but it snapped! The stem is not fully deatached but maybe 85%! Is there anything I can do about this? Is it better to try to split and have two plants or try to fix it?

My blackberry bush has snapped in several branches this year. I walked into the garden past it without touching it to check on some baby wildflowers we got at a pollinator festival. The second I turned around, I saw a branch snap. We’re currently in a windstorm, but it was two weeks ago. I’m not sure what to do for your plant, but all of the blackberry branches that snapped stayed alive (some for a long time) until I cut them. I tried to take care of a few of them, but they never rooted. I think that you have time to decide what to do. Maybe put a rock under it to reduce the angle of the break?
Finding the bright side... If you did, it couldn't have happened to an easier plant to propagate!
