Hi! Quick question, what type of fertilizer do yall use ...

#Fittonia
2ft to light, indirect
8โ€ pot with drainage
Last watered 5 hours ago
Nerve plants are very sensitive to fertilizer burn, so make sure whatever kind you end up using that you dilute it to 1/2 or 1/4 normal strength. Look for a balanced plant food, where all three of the numbers on the back are the same (for example 5-5-5 or 10-10-10). These represent phosphorus, nitrogen, and potassium. You can feed your Fittonia once every 4-6 weeks ONLY during its active growing season. You can also try an organic fertilizer (either instead of or in addition to a chemical fertilizer). Most are gentle enough to use at every watering (diluted, depending on directions). I personally love WeTheWild's liquid plant growth concentrate, but there are plenty of good ones out there.

Btw, and this is just my opinion, but I would avoid MiracleGro fertilizers, especially with a plant so sensitive to salts and vulnerable to fertilizer burn. There are much better options out there for your plants ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hi!
I highly recommend Super Thrive Foliage Pro.
It has everything most plants need and is organic... In liquid form.

Not to brag and knock on wood...all of my plants look gorgeous, are healthy, and thriving since I switched to this about 15 months ago.

We don't fertilize in the winter and water only with plain distilled water because the tap water contains several additives that are toxic to plants.
