Help me with my Dracaena Lisa

The newer leaves at the top have developed brown/yellow spots on them. Any ideas what this can be? Val was so healthy before πŸ₯² I’ve had her for over a year and a half and it’s the first time I’m seeing this. #Dracaena

Hello! I’m kinda wondering if this is a fungal issue! Have you evaluated the roots?

If not, I’d recommend taking the plant out of its pot and checking the roots for orange and / or yellow hued roots. This indicates fungus. You can spray the roots down really well with 3% hydrogen peroxide spray to help dry them out and combat that fungus. I’d recommend repotting into a more aerated, loose soil to prevent this happening again. I’d also trim off the yellow, damaged parts to encourage new healthier growth.

I hope this helps! 🀍
@elisenavidad thank you so much, I didn’t do that yet. It’ll be my next project- I just finished repotting my monstera. I appreciate the explanation of the process! So you wouldn’t recommend cutting off the bad roots, just spraying them?
What type of water are you using? Potentially fungal
