Hi! I’m not familiar with those plants, but for any seeds, I always start with seed starting soil (helps them germinate faster and stronger), and you will need to decide if you want to start them indoors or out. This is entirely up to you and factors like your location and whether or not you’re likely to get a frost again will make a difference. For me, just to be safe, I usually start my seeds inside (except wildflowers). You can use an empty egg carton and fill the cups with seed starting mix (you can also use regular soil but it takes longer for the seeds to germinate if you do). Then poke a little hole in the center of each cup and drop in a couple seeds. If you have a clear or transparent cover you can put over them, the humidity will speed things up as well. Even a simple clear plastic bag will work! Keep soil moist until they sprout, and then you can remove the humidity cover. When the seedlings have two sets of leaves, you generally want to thin them by picking one from each cup that looks strongest and snipping the others. You can Google the length of time you’ll need to wait before transplanting the seedlings to their permanent home (each plant is different and I’m not not familiar with yours), but that’s the gist! @BabeVila thank you so much!! this was super helpful, i’ve seen a lot of different advice and felt kind of overwhelmed by all the different answers lol, but this was really concise & clear on how to start. i am planning on having them outside eventually as they’re great pollinator plants, but i’m for sure going to start them inside. i hope i’m able to get them to sprout. thanks again! 💚
