Holding out hope that Iβll get new leaves!
I picked up a #MonsteraEsqueleto cutting a little while ago and finally potted it when the roots grew. When I got it, there was a baby leaf that had not yet unfurled, but it eventually started drying out before unfurling, so I snipped off the dry parts. What was left did unfurl eventually, but has also started to dry out. Is this cutting going to grow any more new leaves or is it really struggling? What can I do to make it healthier? Itβs currently planted in aroid mix, but was in water until the roots developed. #monsterafanclub

Hi @PeerlessPrasium If your Monstera really 8.2 ft away from the window or indirect light it definitely needs to be closer to a window so it can receive bright indirect light. Also the soil that you have it in might be a little too chunky considering the plant just came from propagating in water. I personally would repot it in a succulent mix with perlite instead. Water it in real good. Check on it in about a week. Make sure the first inch or so of soil is dry before you water again. But definitely move it closer to a window. π π
@princesspitstop Hi, itβs actually under a grow light. I think my Greg settings are off for some reason.
