The leaves look like theyre eaten, is this a sign of pest...

Hello, i am very new to plants and got this one from my bfโ€™s mom and the leaves look like they are eaten. i have a few other plants and im really scared of pests so i searched online and a lot of others had the same thing? I am just double checking since i couldnt find much. Thank you in advance! Edit: there is also some browning on the bigger leaf.

Isolate it from your other plants to keep possible pests from spreading to them. Try spraying/misting the leaves with dawn mixed in water. You can also find some decent pest sprays at your local nurseries or amazon.
@GingaB tysm for the help! Do you have any recommendations for peat sprays on amazon? I only have soaps without chemicals so im assuming that wont work with this?
I don't really see any signs of pests. If anything, it looks more like a humidity issue. Humidifier will help with that, but you can also put it in a cloche
@Araceae ty for the help! I havenโ€™t seen any bugs in the soil or on the leaves so maybe youre right! I will see if i can get a cloche for it and hopefully it wil be happier:)
@Araceae would it hurt the plant if i treated it for pests to be sure?
@Hugbug if you want to get one that's preventative, not those that treat directly. And use organic pesticides, god knows what they use in chemical ones
@Araceae yes ive already looked into neem oil bc i dont want to use any chemicals if not needed (i just didnt know there were organic pesticides until yesterday hihi)
@Hugbug technically neem oil can be considered organic [so long as they don't use chemicals to process it]. Neem oil comes from the neem tree after all
