If your pot doesn't have any drainage then it's holding in all the water and rotting.
@KrunchyWrapz it does have drainage, i noticed that the soil has moss, maybe it is not absorbing the water?
I report every plant that I get cuz a lot of times the plants are in a really cheap go to soil that sellers use so they don't waste a lot of money when they send all these plants out and the soil is really not that great or at least not for everybody else's environment and it doesn't drain that well so I'm pretty sure that your soil is absorbing the water but it's just not drying out fast enough for the roses. I would report into some chunkier soil and allow the soil to completely dry out before you water again and when you do water again do small increments directly at the base so go straight to the roots and no unnecessary soils getting wet causing to retrigger any rod cuz it looks like the soil is just too wet and it's been too wet too small even if the pot has drainage if the soil doesn't drain that well then the holes in the bottle is hot don't matter which is not your fault by any means. But taking the Moss off would probably be beneficial either way
