@BuffCaperspurge Hi Tacy- The Blue Oil Fern required Bright Indirect Light to thrive plants that have color variations like that need more light to show their colors not less but you don’t want to burn it by setting it in direct light. They also need to slightly dry out between watering but don’t allow them to dry out completely. They also require a lot of humidity! Good Luck!πŸͺ΄
@Ponytailmom what about my shingle plant? U asked for pic abd i sent u one. Can u check it out for me? I know about plants w/color needing more sunlight. I have TIs and Crotons that r busting w color. This was something i was told specifically about the blue fern and not a typical fern girl but i sure am a BLUE one!! Lol that wss reason for my question. As it defied my logic i thought there may be something to it. Tx so much!! Now help. me w Woody!! (creative name, yes?) haha
At present i added a trellis behind the shingle but hes grown out of that & rather than add to that, i think i will put plastic moss pole in its place ro get thpse aerial roots on board. Do i just repot him as is or do some rearranfing? Idk y i keep getting myself into these weird spots; i mustlike to suffer!!! Hehehe
@BuffCaperspurge I’m sorry I’ve been slack on my Gregg this week! Let me get home and I will get back to you. I’m still at the office!πŸͺ΄πŸ˜Š
