@darcupcake my husband just kept it submerged under water (he said that was really important, to keep it under water) and drilled the holes. I don't think he even used a special bit. Would probably make it easier though.
Yes, you can. If it’s plastic, you can use a soldering iron to add drainage holes. If it’s ceramic, you’ll need a diamond drill bit. I’ll attach a SS of the steps for that.
If you don’t want to deal with all that, you might be able to find a smaller pot that has drainage holes that fits into the pot that you like! That way, you can simply take the plant out easily to water.
