Is this okay ?

My mass cane's bottom leaves are turning brown

It’s not unusual for them to lose their lower leaves. Some of mine have died off, and I suspect it’s because I let it go to dry. οΏΌHave you noticed all these leaves dying recently?οΏΌ

@Just1More no it's taken them quite a while to turn brown, the rest of the plant is green besides the tips because it wants humidity. I water it regularly, the meter doesn't work. It's just been those and 1 or 2 small leaves near the bottom there

I’m not sure I would be concerned then. Regarding the meter, people here will get tired of me saying this, but I’m a firm believer in checking a plant on a schedule but sticking a chopstick in there and pull it out and feel if it’s wet if it’s not, water

#Just1More I ordered the meters and none of them worked, I have since been using sticks in all of my plants and I realized it is the best and cheapest way to tell by far
