What am I doing wrong my Boxwood gets plenty of sun light...

@HumbleDill Before you water your plant do you check the soil? Boxwood plants are sensitive to wet soil and overwatering, so avoid overwatering to prevent root rot. Water more frequently during the first two years of life and during hot weather. Keep in mind that a plastic pot retains moisture much longer than a more porous Terracotta pot. Boxwood needs very little fertilization, and once or twice a year should be enough.
I do check the soil before watering I guess it’s called a meter reader for the soil. That’s what I use to check to see if plants are dry or moist. My boxwood is in a plastic pot. Maybe I’ll change the water schedule for my boxwood to every week and a half instead of every week see how that goes. Thanks so much for your advice Ms Pers..οΏΌ
Im@also not sure 1-3 hrs of sun is enough. I’d suggest you check that information. Because I’m pretty sure they like full sun. You’ll have to check that yourself ! But here in Kansas they’re used in about every front yard so I’m assuming they do love the sun
