I am traveling for 2 week and a half for the holidays and...

What kind of plant do you have?
I'm sorry I just reread your question
Using a watering globe for your Money Tree during your trip can be a good idea. It helps provide consistent moisture. Before you leave, ensure the soil is adequately hydrated, and place the globe in the soil. Additionally, keep your Money Tree away from direct sunlight to reduce water consumption.
How long does it normally go between watering? And how much water does it need when you water? Figure out how much a globe holds (probably only 1.5 cups, maybe 2 once you consider the spike/neck portion). You might require more than one globe. But if you wanted to play it safe, you could just use one to keep it on the drier side.

Sadly, this is just like having a pet and figuring out their needs while we are gone. It can be hard. And two and a half weeks is longer than most people tend to stay away. If you are driving to your destination you could consider taking it with you ... I've seen some people post about doing that. But a money tree may be too persnickety about change to try that. Good luck, whatever you decide.
I’ve just done similar and was away from my plants about a week and a half for a study break! I used small water globes and terracotta spikes to keep them hydrated, compared to simply overwatering and letting them be. I also ran a humidifier on a low setting before leaving! Although they seemed somewhat thirsty when I came back from my break, most of my plants were in great shape! For my larger plants, I definitely prefer the terracotta spikes compared to a usual water globe.
I have accidentally not watered a plant or two from time to time and I find my money tree to be quite tolerant of such a lapse. I think it will be ok even if it doesn’t get watered til you get home. Better than overwatering.
