@YesYellowbird I would water the top like you are doing but I did start adding water to the plate, if you have one
This way it's getting on both ends
I would also CK that the soil at the bottom isn't extremely wet
If so let it dry out
And make sure the soil isn't packed

Recommend doing both! Soil and cup seemed to work best for mine I started with the cup as well it wasn’t thriving now they are!
