My money tree is looking sad.

My #MoneyTree is looking sad. This last few weeks it’s been dropping leaves. I know it doesn’t have the band underneath, I’ve taken care of that.

I thought it was being over watered, so I made sure to wait for its soil to dry before watering it again.

Idk what else to do.
10ft to light, indirect
13” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
Squeeze the trunks right above the soil & tell me what you feel.
@OhGollyItsJolly thanks to your answer I found bands on my money tree. Maybe that’s why I only have one left from my first one.
@OhGollyItsJolly Three of the four truncks are starting to feel soft, but not fully almost like layers. Are they salvageable ?
@Angelzomg @GemWaxvine23 in my experience when the trunk is feeling soft it is rotting and it is already gone. I have literally killed a half a dozen of these because of the bands around them and they just cut them when they’re alive and stick them in some wet soil and send them to the store with a price tag on them. I have not seen a single one that has roots even 4 foot tall ones.
Sadly, I’m still waiting for someone to convince me that these plants are not just a scam. I still managed to have two left that being said every time I check with them there’s something else wrong with them and another trunk dies. The two I have left now one has 2 trunks other has 3. All of them started out as five trunks twisted together.
These are the only plants I have not been able to save from the clearance rack οΏΌ if I ever have the idea, I’m going to get another one. I’m pulling it apart, right there at the store and show everybody that their gimmick. οΏΌ
this is something that I really wish somebody would prove me wrong on because a lot of people like these plants and I think everyone at least seven out of 10 are getting ripped off οΏΌ
