How much should I water my apple seedlings
Recently I over watered one of my apple seedlings so I want to know how much to water them
I’m not an expert on apple seedlings but can’t imagine it’d be different! For the first couple of weeks, water your apple tree seedlings daily. Back it off to every two or three days after that for another couple of months. By the time the apple trees that you've grown from seed have been planted in the ground for three months, you can slow down to watering them only once a week.
@ProRibbonfern Hello 👋 and welcome to Greg, Casey!

Another thing that will help keep them strong is to pinch off any bits that start to grow from the base of the tree, near the root. Those won’t help the tree get stronger and will waste energy.
Continue to keep the mix moist, but not overly wet. Seedlings should be watered once a day or every other day, depending on how much sun and heat they get.
Remember that seedling roots are fairly close to the surface and they’re growing in a small amount of media, so they don’t need a deep soak the way larger plants do.
Some said: I like using spray bottles or squirt bottles, as the gentle streams of water won’t displace seeds or damage seedlings.

Seedlings can be though! I would recommend keeping them evenly moist (not wet) for the first few months- that might be different waterings for different folks depending on how your seedling is potted and how much sun it's getting, etc.
Once the seedling sprouts it's second set of leaves, it's becoming more stable and tougher.
