It will need watered everyday to help the roots take hold in its new home, but usually only takes a couple of weeks, so you should be able to cut back on it by now.
I would remove the yellow leaves as they're not helping your plant in any way. As long as there's still green, there's still hope! Have you noticed any new growth? If not, don't be discouraged. It's getting to be the time of year it would be going dormant anyway. So even if it all dies off above the ground, if the roots are kept happy, it should come back next year ☺️ and being in Indiana, you have a wet enough winter (I think πŸ€”) that you shouldn't have to do too much more watering until spring ☺️
