Pilea help
So this is my Chinese money plant that I got from a local nursery and something told me something was wrong when I got home. The bottom of the old pot was holding so much water and most of the roots were gone. I was able to save the baby which luckily was high in the pot and had a good amount of roots and even had a new one growing already. It’s been a few week now.
What do you all recommend that I do for the parent plant? The stem was very long and had some roots close to the top and then a few inches down more roots were still present, nothing in between. No new leaves but haven’t lost any more.the most confusing part is that the leaves are both showing over waters and underwatered by how they are cupping.
Was thinking of just propagating it a few times along the stem, but have never done that with a pilea yet.

@StitchedPlants If you just purchased it please take it back . There’s no reason why you should have to deal with this.
@ILoveMyPlants it’s been a month now and they won’t. It was only $7 so it’s not any harm money wise, I would just like to try and save it somehow.
@StitchedPlants mine does this too and it does confuse me. The only thing I know is that they like to be watered similar to succulents.
