What happened to my kumquat leaves?

Recently I noticed the leaves have scattered holes in them. I haven’t had any issues before with the leaves being eaten or having diseases. I am not sure what kind of bug it could be. Is there something I could spray or put around the tree to help protect my kumquat from bugs if that’s the cause? #kumquat #NewPlantMom #PestControl #OutdoorGrowing #HappyPlants
2ft to light, direct
10” pot with drainage

I notice a lot of planters on the app recommend Neem Oil. I have tried it a couple of times and it seems to work. It is also recommended to dilute it with water. I did not. Good luck! @FairSnowflower
@PlantHapppy I will try that out thanks!

Looks more like sun damage to me. Even the "geranium" looks sunburned and dry. I ALWAYS pick the least invasive approach 1st. If that plant is really getting the sun noted in the plant bio, 6 days between watering is WAY too long for an outdoor plant. The terracotta pot adds to the plant not receiving its fair share of water. If these plants were mine I would place them away from direct sun and give them a good drink. That should solve your problem. (Placing it into plastic couldn't hurt either).
