When was your palm put outdoors and how frequently have you been watering it? Also, it looks like it's in the ground. Is that the case?

My palm looked the same yesterday. It was too close to a radiant heater and the soil was very dry. I’ve watered and moved it and I’m pretty worried about him.

My pygmy palm lives outside in the ground in direct sun on south side of my house. He was there when we bought the house. When was your last rain?
