Hope your new potting soil is cactus/succulent and yes it will be fine. Just be sure the soil is completely dry before watering again. My cacti are all indoors and I water every 2 weeks 😊

I'm gonna say the comment that came first is correct, but what called me to the situation is that that little flower looks plastic. I recommend you ever so carefully cute it off.

@dinosgoroarr Yes, I got a small cactus. It also had a red flower. I did research and it told me to take it off with a hairdryer on the low setting. I just needed a little tweezers and it came right off.
