Good call moving it to a location with less direct sunlight. Remove the rocks on top and check the soil underneath. Succulents do well in dry conditions. I also don’t see if this is a draining pot. Check if the soil is too wet just underneath the surface. If it’s too moist and no drainage might be causing some root rot.
