I started seeing some black spots on my #fiddleleaffig. C...

To my knowledge, fiddle leaf figs usually have some freckling on the edges of their leaves but I’m not sure if it’s that.
@GrowMyPretties I don't see these spots on the other leaves though. I read online that it could be overwatering. I turned off my humidifier yesterday to see if it helps. Thanks!
Hi πŸ‘‹ @PetAlula15 yeah, those spots aren’t normal. Looks like a bacterial or fungal issue. The 1st pic almost looks like hard water deposits too. You said you turned the humidifier off. If it was close it could have been getting too much moisture on the leaves. Humidifiers are great but you need proper air circulation too. If you’ve ever been to a big greenhouse they’ve got fans running too to keep moisture from settling on top of the leaves.πŸƒ If it were mine I’d remove those 2 leaves. Keep an eye on it for more developing on other leaves. No humidifier for now. Are you in a particularly dry area? Or run heater A/C a lot?
