Recently repotted and now itβs struggling.
#WhiteBirdOfParadise was really healthy when we bought it. I split the two plants into their own separate pots with tropical potting mix and moved it to a grow light. The newest leaf got damaged in the move and the leaves are curling and browning at the ends. Iβm following the watering schedule but maybe Iβm missing something? The mix feels like it holds more moisture than the coco blend it came in.
@HeiressSalal59 it looks like your plant is in a bit of shock. I would lower the light to be closer to the plant and let it dry out just a bit more before watering next time.
It looks like Greg is still learning about your oasis and the schedule for watering might be a little aggressive toward the overwatering thing.
I would recommend the finger-in-the-soil test to see if the top few inches are dry before watering again. Just snooze the Greg notification and water when the top couple inches are dry. Eventually Greg will figure out the timing.
Otherwise just let it be. Sometimes the shock of repotting can be a lot, especially if you separated two plants. Give it a few weeks to see if it can bounce back on its own. But I would recommend no fertilizer for a few weeks, just to get the plant acclimated to its new pot and light.
Best wishes!!
