I found this: Large Holes or Holes in Rows
Pest Infestation: Caterpillars, slugs, snails, or spider mites can eat holes in the leaves or cause dry, brown, or black lesions.
Fix: Check under leaves for bugs. Treat with neem oil or insecticidal soap.
Mechanical Damage/Scorching: If the plant is in direct sunlight, leaves can burn, causing holes and dry spots.
Fix: Move to a spot with bright, indirect light. Of course, it could also be underwater, which kind of crisps leaves sometimes at the tip of the leaf or at the edge.
