I wonder how old this #Echinopsis #cactus could be. Any i...
@Gordo It's a gift. It was put behind a shed with no care whatsoever for a few years : fierce midday Sun, shade for the rest of the day, periodic rain (there was moss in the pot), almost no soil (soil sipping out through a very large pot hole), a thick 2 cm grub in the pot feeding on the roots).I adopted it 3 months ago. I repotted it, gave it a nice layer of fresh succulent soil, it's enjoying 11 h of bright direct and indirect light daily, appropriate watering.
At least 6 years behind the shed @Gordo
@FitBrowallia He certainly is. Although cacti are slow growers, he has shown new healthy growth, that's incredible. I like looking at him, some people may think that he is ugly, but I think he is a survivor, he's beautiful. I love my Einstein ๐๐ต
Also this is his baby Athena ๐ค It fell off with my slight touch, I wanted to propagate. One healthy offset. I've never propagated before; I have one shot at this only. I hope she will grow some roots. @FitBrowallia
@SvelteKingfern Iโm rooting for her. ๐ฑ๐
