My plant is loosing color?

I’ve had this wandering Jew for a bit and it’s been so healthy. Recently the leaves at the base have started loosing thier colors and turning brown. The leaves further down the vines are healthy and full of color. Why are the leaves at the base turning brown?
Hi Mallory, when I first saw this photo I thought it might have been propagated pieces, and I was going to suggest a smaller pot and better soil as that soil looks not only dry but it looks like it’s dense and would hold more water than it should. But I looked at your plant oasis and see it was actually a big beautiful plant. 🤔 so if this has been in same pot and soil for a while- I might suggest repotting it. It definitely needs new soil- a mixture of 50% potting soil, 40% Perlite, and 30% orchid bark- that will provide good nutrients from the soil, and the perlite/bark will allow the soil and roots to get enough air and oxygen. I would also suggest a smaller pot- only if there are a lot of roots- it could be root bound, and you’ll know when you take it out of the pot for new soil.
