Different coloring on fiddle leaf fig trunk/stem?

Hey everyone! My fiddle leaf fig is growing pretty well and looks relatively healthy, but I noticed recently that the trunk?/stem? is starting to brown, anyone know why? It’s very sturdy so I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or bad thing.
I think the plant in your picture is a rubber plant! I have one too that has a brown stem but it doesn’t mean that it’s unhealthy.
Yes! So sorry this is my rubber plant lol
Hi, Saketh! You have a ficus elastica (also called a rubber tree). Browning on the stems is quite natural in older plants. It is like corking, and it helps to strengthen the stems.
@sarahsalith ahh that’s a relief!! Thanks so much
@DandyClusia Hello and welcome to Greg, Saketh. Sarah @sarahsalith is 💯 correct. Wow 🤩 Sarah that Rubber Tree of yours is beautiful!
