My pothos is crispy and holey!
I canβt figure it out, for the life of me I cannot spot any pests but look! The only thing I can think of is my 34% AZ humidity even with a humidifier?? Thoughts?? Iβve treated with neem and an insecticidal soap for the past month. Never once have spotted a pest though. Even my new leaf came out with issues (second photo).

@FreshOakmoss21 I would try misting her it might help.
@FreshOakmoss21 hello fellow Arizonan.. Iβm near Tempe marketplace. Iβm going to be honest..I even run a humidifier for my other plants, I live in a second floor apartment and my golden pothos and satin are justβ¦frustrating. They do the same thing.. my brasil and my pearls and jade donβt get these anomalies. I just keep in indirect light, neem and watch them. Iβm going to see what others post. Oh my humidity can be from 40-45, I canβt acclimate to out heat and the humidity too lol.
@FreshOakmoss21 I just realized you had brown crispy tips..yep..good old humidity.. some say pebble trays (those donβt work for me) and I hesitate to mist any plant at all cause of possiblly causing fungus, etc. maybe take in the shower a couple times a week or something similar. Itβs a thoughtβ¦ I was so uptight cause I always thought something was eating my babies.
@LivingStones I just went back to look, I think it was the hole in the upper leaf blurring in the photoβ¦
@SvelteDevilsivy yeah! It seems very tricky! I struggle with humidity. My house has an open floor plan with tall ceilings so even the humidifier does very little and I go back and forth if I should even continue spending the money on distilled water. Based on what youβre saying too Iβm thinking itβs the humidity issue then, but I thought pothos were fairly good at acclimating π€·π»ββοΈ
@SvelteDevilsivy yes, 100% exactly feel this! Ugh. But good to know Iβm not alone!
