14” pot without drainage
Last watered 5 months ago
Hi Carol, I looked at the plant info in your oasis and it says the pot has no drainage? If true, I bet that’s the problem. These plants need to be in soil that drains well and in a pot that drains as well. They are prone to root rot so sitting in wet soil will do it. My advice- repot in a pot that drains. Good draining soil. When you repot, get a good look at the roots. If they are dark brown to black and if they smell really bad- it’s most likely root rot. You can prune the dead roots. Repot. You can prune the yellow/brown leaves. When the soil is dry 3 inches down then water. If you have a little patience and it can recover, then water every 2 weeks, or accordingly to your climate. I hope this helps ☺️
Thank you so much. I will definitely look and and see if I need to repot... appreciate your help
