Can you post a picture of what you see?

I doubt it will kill your plant, but your plant will probably be going dormant pretty soon.οΏΌ

@sarahsalith it’s sort of hard to tell in the photo but this was the best one I could get. I was pruning some dead leaves when I noticed fuzzy grey mold on some of the stems I was removing

Ahh- I see it. It's just a bit of mold. Make sure it gets lots of air circulation and make sure the soil dries out a bit. It'll go away with air circulation and when the soil dries.

If you want to spray it with hydrogen peroxide, you can. (:
