Have you looked really close for pests?
Water when top two inches are dry. They thrive in the shade, or indirect light.
Is, does it, sit in direct light like pictured?
@LucrativeHedera should I bring it inside? I think it does have some flying tiny black things in soil.

This post is a bit dated, but in the off chance you read it - over my lifetime, I've learned not to let the sun's rays touch my ivy. The leaves get all brown & crispy then fall off.
Leave it outside but in the shade. Sometimes I forget to water and it still thrives!
