I haven't tried it personally. But it should be fine as long as you provide her with plenty of light if you move her indoors. This time of year would require 16 hours. So you will most likely require a grow light.
And yes you can absolutely overwinter indoors just be sure to continue with plenty of light.
I love them too they are beautiful I have some in my garden right now as well, maybe? I'm not positive though because mine came in a wildflower mix and I haven't looked into it. But I'm loving my wildflowers, I have new kinds spring up everyday!
Back to yours, are you watering everyday? If it's super hot you may just need to water more often. Mine get watered every morning.
When you do move her in she will need to be acclimated:
Day 1&2 2 hours indoors
Day 3&4 4 hours
Etc.
Slow and easy so she doesn't experience shock on you.
You can do what I do with my coleus which are also considered an annual.
Every year when they start to look more sparse and not quite as beautiful (mine are grown indoors). I take cuttings and root them for new plants. So I've kept them going for 5 years. I plan on doing this indefinitely because my son gave me the seeds as a gift.
Just keep that in mind. That way you can keep the beauty going without having to purchase more.
