Why are my orchid flowers wilting πŸ™

I keep her in a relatively light space and let the roots completely dry out before watering in small amounts. I recently reported it and not sure if it will make it 😞 the leaves look health and I had to cut a lot of yellowing roots when reporting to prevent rot spreading

The flowers only stay for some time, not all the time, it’s normal for them to wilt before falling off. Also, for the future, don’t repot the orchid when it’s flowering, as that causes stress and that’s most likely the reason why your flowers are having an even shorter life span.
@Lisyer thank you!
@PlantLover22 also, when the flowers completely fall off, I recommend you cut the whole stem (on which the flowers were attached) off, I made that mistake on mine, and it grew keikies πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
@Lisyer what are keikies? It’s my first time having an orchid so I’m pretty new.
@PlantLover22 keikies are babies of your Orchid, it may be cool to get them, but it consumes so much of the plants energy producing a whole new orchid on it, that it takes very long to bloom again, mine took like 2 years after I didn’t cut the stem.
@PlantLover22 here’s mine currently, the funny thing is, that the babies are blooming, not my actual plant if that makes sense :D
@Lisyer I understand you. It’s similar to when a spider plant has babies haha
