Drooping Spearmint and Sage plant what should I do?#newpl...

I recently got into plants and got these plants only two or so weeks ago, but both of them seem to be struggling a lot. Originally I thought maybe they were just acclimating but none of my other plants seem to be having issues. I thought maybe my cat had been messing with them as well as she enjoys sitting on my desk and looking out the window where they originally were placed. Recently I moved them over with my other three plants where my cat typically doesn't go, but they still don't seem to be fairing any better. A friend of mine told me the sage might be having issues due to touching the soil so I made her a makeshift support (as you can see in the picture). Does anyone have any advice?

I would also say as well that your succulents are drought tolerant plants as well. When I water my succulent babies I water them until I see water drain out and they I will not water them until they are dry all the way through and I’ll even give it a few more days and then repeat the process. Some I even water from the bottom so I know for sure that they have gotten a good drink. Also a good tip that I was just informed about is when planting your plants in a pot you do not want them either too high or too low in the pot. So a good place to have the soil topped is to the line in the tops of most all pots. The you stick two fingers in and make that whole for your plants and pack around the plant just to make it sturdy and do not water right away. Let the roots search for water for a week and then add water. I’ve had great results with this tip. Hopefully it will help you as well? Good luck!
@ZLink703 You won’t be able to save the already affected so cutting them back is a safe option. It looks like you’re overwatering them and both are drought tolerant plants. Let the soil dry out completely before watering again and they should grow back. Good luck
Also means it's sad
I water my herbs nearly every other day. They really need a lot of light and a lot of water. They’re not drought tolerant, they need soil that stays consistently moist and only let the top inch or two to dry out. You’re in NY so they would really like to be outside to get the best light.
Thank you all so much, this has been really helpful! My spearmint plant is doing a bit better though my Sage plant is still struggling, though I believe that's partly because my cat is obsessed with it and continues to try and lick it (not a clue why but, thank God, Sage isn't toxic to cats). I plan to move her to a hanging pot to try and get my cat to leave her alone and maybe get her more sunlight. I did notice one person informing me that they'd be better outside, unfortunately New York is full of bored teenagers who have made a game of tormenting local neighborhood plants. Gotta love teens right? Anyhow I really appreciate all your help! Hopefully I'll update soon. (Freja the culprit of my poor Sage plants stress below πŸ‘‡)
