Any suggestions on Taking care of Pilea?

So I just got a #pilea plant on sale, it was very dry and slightly over grown in the pot it’s in. I’m going to repot it and water it but I haven’t taken care of these before. Any suggestions about how to maintain it? Thank you!
Wow, beautiful! 😍πŸͺ΄
welcome to greg!!
pilea don’t like to be pot bound so it’s a good thing you repotted them. they’re not too picky about soil as long as it’s well draining, and they enjoy bright indirect light (mine is next to an east window with a translucent curtain over it and he’s happy). water when the soil is 3/4 dry or completely dry, either seems okay for mine. if they get yellow spots on the leaves + pale growth it’s a nutrient defiency or pot bound. they make a lot of pups so be prepared!
Looks gorgeous! Congrats new plant mom 🌿 😊 I haven't had much success with mine but it's good you consulted the Greg Community first (I didn't 😳 ) β€”Question for @strawberrymoon What nutrients/fertilizer do you recommend for yellow leaves? I heard dried banana peels work? I dunno... I'm out of ideas for my #Pilea πŸ˜”
@roxyvivien i have no idea, sorry! i just use what works for me + i’m not from the US so i don’t think we have the same brands at stores. btw you may want to check if your guy might be rootbound bc mine got yellow spots when he needed a repot! yellow leaves could also mean overwatering so it’s kinda hard to tell
@strawberrymoon - All good! 😊 I have Succulent fertilizer so I'll do some research to see if that's good for her... She's definitely not root-bound as I re-potted her a month after purchasing her and put her in a bigger pot (that's was 6 months ago).... I suspected over-watering plus accidental sunburn caused her stress and took measures for both but her recovery has been slow πŸ˜”
@strawberrymoon thank you so much!
