How do you guys store your tulip/daffodill/hyacinth bulbs...

I live in a warmer area so the temperatures needed to stimulate good future growth in bulbs isnt cold enough, I plant all my bulbs in pots and store them when it’s time and a few months ago I realized I accidentally killed the new asiatic Lily bulbs I had bc of improper storage (I didn’t know they required humidity during the storage period) and they dried to a crisp and rotted from the inside which was a shock to say the least and I’m still confused ab that, anyways I don’t want the same lack of knowledge to be the reason why I would lose bulbs again and I want to make sure I do things right so my question here is since I’m storing the tulip/daffodill/hyacinth bulbs in the fridge for cooling do they require any sort of humidity or anything else that’s important that I should probably know about that affects their growth and overall success rate?
I stick my bulbs in a damp paper towel and place them in a ziploc baggie in my fridge. Here is a website with more information on storing bulbs. I hope this helps. https://storables.com/articles/how-to-store-unplanted-bulbs/
I always stored rhizomes & bulbs in burlap in garage during this time of year. Dry, cool & darkbis what ur looking for, & burlap is like moss for a propogating cutting!!
