Calathea/Maranta Issue

Why are my Calatheas and Marantas drying and shriveling by the stem? The tips of the leaves look great. I lost my white fusion this way. (Temp low 80s, humidity 55-60%.) #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #CalatheaCrew

Soak that via bottom watering for like an hour, and continue to do so with your water routine moving forward. Cut the brown spots off. Probably needs more humidity, those damn things. Maybe mist those leaves when you think about it. Good luck.

@Eryss it could still be the soil. Many times the nuraery@is using what is good for them but your home. Oh it could have a mess plug around the roots. It’s the killer starter plug.
Mainly Is get it out of the pot and have a look at the roots.
