Is this Normal?

My plant looks dry at the root. I have loved it to better lighting and bottom watered so as to not over water her. She feels like she’s doing good until I looked deeper. Is this normal???

She might be a little too dry. Top off the soil to those roots and top water every 2 weeks or so. To the good, with the roots she is going to bush out quite a bit.

@CheyenneRed I did the finger check in the soil and she is kinda dry. I started bottom watering last week and normally do it once a week. Maybe I should make her twice a week???
