Can you take a picture that shows more of the plant? Itβd help to see more of the other leaves, but this could be a plethora of things, i.e., under watering / lack of humidity / too much heat and sunβ¦ the leaf doesnβt look healthy - are there any others that are turning a yellow/brown and is the leaf dry and brittle at all or no? Iβd also treat it for fungal/bacterial to be on the safe side and prune that leaf off, regardless.
I agree with @GaryPoopins. A better, fuller picture will help us ID the problem! Personally from this picture, the leaf looks sunstressed or ready to retire i.e drop πΏ
Thatβs a croton- they need a lot of light and almost constant water as they are native to the Philippines. In northern areas they are susceptible to cold and dry air, which invite spider mite infestation. Check for tiny webs, especially on the undersides of the leaves. Get a strong grow light if needed and make sure the soil stays moist- mist in between watering. If webs are seen, spray the plant generously with neem oil or 3 in 1 spray every other day until you donβt see any webs or leaf drop. Good luck with him- they are showstoppers with a lot of light!
